Knight of Cups

Knight of Cups

The Card: A knight in full armour on his grey horse is holding one cup. His cape is decorated with fish. In front of him is a stream, and behind that low mountains.

Interpretation: Even though the cup represents the water, there is no softness to our knight. It looks like he is carrying forward the gifts of water like the Holy grail. He is about to cross the water, symbolising a transition. That would require him to be open, welcoming messages and intuition, embracing the feminine. But he is dressed for a fight, or at least a crusade.

He is a man of action though. With what ever means he has, he will cross the stream and go into the mountains. He will carry forward his message and learn what he can from the waters.

Prediction: In these days, during this time, I have protected myself, shielded myself so it's difficult to feel and be sensitive. But emotions will seep in through the cracks in my protection.I am on a quest to learn, but perhaps I am not correctly equipped, I will have to shed my shell. During my crossing of the waters, it will happen.

Keywords: Transition, looking for the feminine, blocked emotions, self protection, willingness to learn and open, action.
